Gwendolyn Keyes Baker, M.A. is a leader, author, and voice whose work sits at the intersection of faith, leadership, and the fullness of life.
With nearly 30 years of experience in state government and the nonprofit sector, and years of dedicated service in women's ministry and church administration, Gwen has spent her life building things that matter — organizations, communities, women, and now, a body of written work that is quietly reimagining how we think about faith, leadership, caregiving, and the lives we're called to live.
She holds a Master of Arts in Human Behavior and Conflict Management — a background that informs not just what she writes about, but how she leads, how she listens, and how she speaks into the rooms she enters.
People have called her the voice — not because she's the loudest in the room, but because she has a gift for articulating what others feel but cannot find words for. Whether she's writing about finding God in the strangest places, helping women discover the treasure within themselves, or walking alongside caregivers in the most sacred and difficult season of their lives, Gwen shows up with honesty, warmth, and the kind of wisdom that comes from having actually lived it.
She's the proud mother of two incredible young women — and together with her older daughter, she co-founded MD Publications, a mother-daughter publishing company bringing meaningful books to life for themselves and others.
When she's not writing, Gwen loves to travel, enjoy family time, and tend a growing garden — a new and tender hobby she took up in honor of her mother, who gardened for years.
She believes that God rarely discards a season — He redeems it.
